Relocation and conversion of an existing modular office complex. Install and link 1 no additional new bay and provision of new entry ramps, steps and walkway.
One of our regular clients, probably the largest manufacturer of portable buildings in the world, was asked to provide an additional section to an existing modular office complex, located in Amersham, North London. A major part of this contract was to relocate the structure to Harwell, including converting the internal layout to suit the new application, and provide new entry steps and ramps. The building was disassembled, gutted of all internal walls, doors and electrics, and relocated over two weekends. All internal walls were overlaid with new decorative plasterboard wall finish. Studwork and plasterboard walls were fitted complete with new doors, to achieve the new configuration.
Once complete, the new electrical installation was installed along with the relocated air conditioning units. After consultation with the local building control officer, ramps, steps and walkways were site fabricated and fitted to suit site specific constraints. We are pleased to say we completed the project one week ahead of schedule. Needless to say both customer and client were once again delighted with our service.
